2020 2nd round drawing for Cow Elk hunt Extended to August 31, 2020


**Due to COVID 19 safety protocols, all hunters are requested to mail payment to OSPRA office or to purchase the online licenses thru the OSPRA website with a credit/debit card. Any questions or issues can be sent to:

Cost of the drawing fees for submission into the 2nd round drawing for a cow elk is $30.00.

Due to a limited number of elk licenses available, the following terms apply:  For 2020 the 2ND ROUND drawings-

Bennett/Jackson County Cow Elk: These licenses will be for cow only and are valid only on Tribal lands on Bennett and Jackson counties. The cost of these licenses is $150.00.

Application fees are $30 for each drawing. Cash or personal checks not accepted. Money orders, bank cashier checks and credit/debit cards only.

Drawing entries will close at 11:59 PM on August 31, 2020.

Drawing will be held August 12, 2020. Successful applicants will be sent an email August 12, 2020.

After the drawing held on September 1, 2020, successful applicants will have until September 18, 2020 to claim their license.

Applicants who entered round 1 do not need to re-apply for the second round. They will be entered automatically.

  • Applicants who are successful and claim their licenses can choose between archery or firearms. When they do so, the licenses cannot be changed and applicants must abide to the corresponding seasons (archery licensees cannot use firearms during firearms season).
  • Successful applicants can purchase their license by sending their payment via mail to the OSPRA office in Kyle or the online purchase/harvesting website:
  • Unsuccessful applicants will receive a preference point to increase their odds of success in next year’s drawings.
